Our Story

The Story Behind Lending to the Lord Corp.:

What started as a 4-year-old Gracey collecting blankets for those in need, as seen in The Warmth of Grace Facebook page, has blossomed into a full-fledged 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

In 2023, high school graduates Gracey and Victoria stepped out of their comfort zones to serve those in need. Inspired by their faith and compassion, they began distributing hot meals to the homeless during holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving in Dallas-Fort Worth.

After delivering 50 meals during one outing, they were heartbroken to see how many remained in need. Without hesitation, they used their own money to purchase 100 more meals that day. This experience revealed the vast need in their community, sparking a deeper commitment.

Gracey and Victoria launched a GoFundMe campaign, raising nearly $500 overnight. With the support of their parents and organizations like Bank of America, Lending to the Lord Corp. was born. Officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the organization now serves not only Texas but also communities in Maryland and across the country.

Their mission remains steadfast: to uplift and provide for those in need, one meal at a time.
