 Lending To The Lord Nonprofit began in 2023, founded by Gracey Arencibia and Victoria Rheubottom. They were called by the Lord to take a step outside of their comfort zone to help those in need in the DFW area. The first step was distributing meals on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, but after seeing the amount of need in the community, the girls took it upon themselves to start making and buying meals to give out outside of holidays. 50 meals were dispersed within minutes, so Gracey and Victoria decided to buy 100 more meals with their own pocket money to continue giving. Through this experience, they realized just how many were in need in the community. This pushed them to create a GoFundMe, which raised about $500 overnight. Following a series of meetings with the bank and with their parents' enthusiastic support, Lending To The Lord successfully obtained 501(c)(3) status.
